Villanova offers the unique combination of an amazing Catholic education and strong athletics. Additionally, Villanova’s fantastic coaching staff and family atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for in a program.”

Field hockey goals: “Ultimately, I want to work hard to become the best teammate and player I can be in order to help my team succeed. With the Academy of Notre Dame, I hope to win the InterAc and PAISAA titles the next two years. With my Mayhem club team, I hope to win NITs and NCCs. With Villanova, I hope to win the Big East regular season and tournament.”

Mitchell’s shout-out: “I would like to thank my parents for their endless support and love. I would like to thank my Mayhem coach, Alex McMahan, and my high school coaches, Adele Williams and Jackie Gerzabek, for their continuous efforts to help me develop as player, teammate, and person. I would like to thank my teammates for pushing me to be better everyday and making field hockey so much fun. Finally, I would like to thank Coach Milhous and Coach Fuller for this incredible opportunity.”

The Main Line Field Hockey Club (“Mayhem”) is the first field hockey club to offer advanced skills development in the heart of the Main Line of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. MAYHEM is about MORE than just field hockey. It’s about building confidence in young women that will change their lives, and it’s about coaches who are not only experts in their craft but who serve as role models.
